At Westmorland Glass - Steam Mill Clocks we’ve been handling some of the finest and most delicate antique clocks and barometer for over 30+years. From being a young boy it was my job to help load and unload vehicles with antique clocks for customer deliveries and clock fairs this was estate cars and transit vans, after dealing with our own vehicles id often help other traders unload and load. This gave me a vast experience in handling all varieties of antiques, this taught me to treat all items I’m handling with the same respect and care whether its a £100-£100,000 item. As well as working for my dad on evenings and weekends I had full time jobs working for various delivery companies handling pallet loads to home furnishings and more. Whether its a EBay / Argos / Facebook marketplace etc we’ll transport it for you.
Our vehicle…. Is a long wheel base high top transit van with low mileage and well maintained. The load area has been fully stripped re-ply lined and insulated in May 2023 we’ve also fitted bright led lighting so that we can see what were doing while handling your items to minimise and damage. Both the rear and side doors are fitted with high security locks for security of your items.
Insurance….We’re insured for removal and courier work (goods in transit) with public liability insurance. I do advise when shipping high value antique items that our customer obtains there own insurance for that specific item to ensure correct cover.
What we do….We travel the travel the length and width of the country for our customers, We take part and full loads, pallets to individual boxes. Removals/clearances. Same/next day delivery (subject to availability.
