I've been involved in the antique clock trade for over 30 years. Being the son of Russ Allen at Steam Mill Clocks who was well known by many has given me many advantages in my life. One of those advantages is being fortunate enough to be involved in his business from being a young boy, enabling me to handle a lot of clocks and barometers with a lot of them being very delicate, valuable in both a monitory and sentimental sense as well as being quite rare. I learnt that these pieces of history need to be handled with the care and respect they deserve, they didn’t survive 100’s of years by being mistreated.

As well as setting up stalls at antique fairs in the Uk and Europe In that time i played a huge role in transporting and setting up the one and only antique clock stall, at the world famous motor show at the NEC in 2019 handling clocks totalling a value in excess of £200,000.

With that said id like offer all antique clock retailers,traders, collectors and private individuals my knowledge and service.

We all know how difficult it is to find a safe and reliable person to collect, deliver or simply move clocks for a house move. I am able and more than capable of achieving this for you. I don’t work like your everyday courier with a van load of items squeezing another load in until my van is full, or like removal services that doesn’t really know how to handle your clock and or barometer therefore highly likely resulting in damage or you needing to employ someone to set up and get you clock working again.

*Delivery of items from seller to international shippers (the shipper can be arranged by you or myself)

*White glove service, from seller to customer (delivery and set up) conditions apply

*Antique fair collections and or delivery of items to the fair.

*I’m very experienced in packing such items for the purpose of transportation or you are welcome to pack the item yourself.

My vehicle is clean,secure and well maintained. I’m the only driver of the vehicle and only person that will have access to your items.
